If you do not have your own academic dress:
If you are a graduate of Monash University you may (subject to availability) borrow Monash academic dress without charge. Academic dress for some other Melbourne-based institutions may be available. Interstate or international academic dress is not available: see Council gowns below.

Council Gowns: If academic dress is not available to you as above, you may borrow a Council gown, which is a master's gown of black cloth with turquoise yoke and facings worn with a black trencher cap. This is the regulation dress at graduation ceremonies for those not having access to their proper dress. Contact Brian Corless as above.
