Open day is in one weeks time on Sunday August 3rd 10 - 4pm here in Building 6. This is the most important recruitment activity this faculty and the university holds.
We are asking for your cooperation: We need academic staff volunteers on the day to provide course information - either a half or a full day. 9.30am for a 10.00 am start til 1.00 or 1 til 4.00pm finish or 9.30 - 4.00 pm.
If you volunteer we feed you yummy food and you receive a tshirt! Plus as much coffee as you want all day! All volunteer staff should wear the Faculty branded tshirt on the day and an 'Ask Me' Badge. Staff may keep the tshirt. Please only wear a white or black undershirt/skivvy underneath - no other colours. (I have a limited number of polo shirts for borrowing if the open day tshirt 'doesnt fit'). We have a 'care pack' for sniffles and headaches etc - so no excuse!
Your assistance is much appreciated - remember marketing and recruitment is in fact a job we all need to undertake - it helps secure the long term viability of the faculty.
